Assistant Professor of Physics Ke Fang and Assistant Professor of Computer Sciences Xiangyao Yu will each receive $75,000 to support their research.

Jack McLeod, Maier-Bascom Professor Emeritus and a leader in political communication research, died January 28, 2024, at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. He was 93. Robert Booth Fowler, an emeritus professor within the College of Letters & Science, passed away earlier this month at the age of 84. As a professor in both Political Science and Integrated Liberal Studies, Booth impacted thousands of students at the undergraduate and graduate levels and excelled in research and campus service.
