From Chancellor Blank: Career center prepares students for jobs

UW-Madison is serious about its mission of preparing students for the workforce. In January, a new Career Exploration Center opened that will help students make decisions about their majors and career paths.

"This renovated space is where thousands of undergraduates from across the campus will find resources and expert guidance to finally answer that question they’ve been hearing since kindergarten: What do you want to be when you grow up?" Chancellor Rebecca Blank says in her blog. UW-Madison also is making other efforts to prepare students for the workforce, and it's being noticed nationally, Blank notes.
