L&S Dean’s Ambassadors is a select group that helps the dean see L&S through students’ eyes. We love these students’ willingness to share their wisdom and their experience with us! Recently, we asked them to name their favorite spaces on campus. The results are eye-opening!

"I love the Red Gym because of its history and how it houses many important programs. The Multicultural Center is an amazing space and has so many resources for everyone, especially POC (People of Color) which is is extremely important for creating community in a PWI (Predominantly White Institution)."

"My favorite L&S spot has to be the concert hall inside the Hamel Music Center, preferably onstage with the Tuesday night University Band. Being part of an ensemble, knowing how much hard work and practice must be put in leading up to every performance on the stage, be it from various faculty, ensembles, or students, gives it a special place in my heart."

"My favorite location that's part of the College of Letters & Science is the new Chemistry Tower because of the color themes throughout the building, as well as the architecture and design catered towards the students. The building promotes a very productive environment for studying and collaboration and is my number one spot to go since it opened!"
