Associate Professor Jake Vander Zanden gave the prestigious J.C. Stevenson Memorial Lecture at the Canadian Conference for Fisheries Research in January 2009. The lectureship is given to young, energetic and creative researchers at the cutting edge of an aquatic discipline. Vander Zanden’s presentation was on benthic production in lakes: cross-habitat and landscape linkages.
