The University of Wisconsin-Madison was recently ranked second in the nation by TheBestColleges.org for innovation in foreign language study.
In describing the strengths of UW-Madison in this area, the website cites the University’s outstanding departments of languages, literature and cultures; the variety of language-learning and study abroad programs available to students; and the unique opportunities for promoting research, education and outreach supported by the Language Institute.
