This year's "William Appleman Williams Conference: 50th Year Anniversary of The Tragedy of American Diplomacy" will feature a number of lectures and talks on October 9, 2009.
Speakers include Professor Jeremi Suri, William Appleman Williiams and keynote speaker Staughton Lynd, an activist, historian and attorney.
Lynd's keynote talk, "William Appleman Williams, Empire and International Law" will begin at 4pm at Grainger Hall.
The daylong conference is sponsored by the European Union Center of Excellence.
