As Wisconsin's Attorney General raises legal concerns over the probe, Republicans seem to be treating it as a contest to see who can be most skeptical of the election results, says the professor of journalism.

Associate professor Armando Ibarra's recent op-ed for the Progressive argues that mainstream media outlets' struggle to explain “Latino” political behaviors and voting patterns in the wake of the 2020 election is nothing new. "They are just as shocked today by the results as they were in 2016, and as they have been every four years since at least 1980," he writes. There's a crucial point that's being overlooked, according to Ibarra: class.

“Things are really running rampant, so there is a lot of discontent,” says director of the Elections Research Center.
