The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has elected George B. Dantzig Professor of Computer Sciences and Department Chair, Stephen J. Wright as a new member. Professor Wright receives this high professional distinction for Wright's theory and design of optimization algorithms and their application in signal processing and machine learning.
