Beloit College Magazine: Helping Students Succeed in a New Reality
DeVon Wilson, Director of the L&S Center for Academic Excellence, is the subject of an excellent profile in Beloit College’s magazine. Wilson is a ’90 graduate of Beloit College, and the article lauds his work helping underrepresented, first-generation, low-income UW-Madison students navigate their time here, including the many challenges posed by COVID-19.
Remembering an agent for change
Dr. James Baugh, an early director of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Five Year Program, died on April 20, leaving a legacy of support and service that continues on campus today.
