The Wisconsin Idea is being realized in a long-term partnership between the Department of Political Science and the Elections Division of the state's Government Accountability Board.

A team of four faculty is evaluating the new Wisconsin Election Data Collection System, which is funded by a $2 million federal grant.

The team is led by Professor Barry Burden and includes Professors David Canon and Kenneth Mayer as well as Associate Professor Donald Moynihan.

The project includes a survey of the state's 1,922 clerks and will improve election administration in Wisconsin and other states.
