Professor Yuri Miyamoto (Psychology) has received a Vilas Associates Award from the Graduate School.
Winners of the award receive up to two-ninths of research salary support (including the associated fringe costs) for both summers 2010 and 2011, as well as a $12,500 flexible research fund in each of the two fiscal years.
This is is a highly competitive award and it is a sign of the esteem in which Miyamoto's work is regarded.
