Three faculty scholars and 13 graduate students or recent graduates from the University of Wisconsin-Madison's College of Letters & Science have received 2014-15 Fulbright awards.
The Fulbright Program is the U.S. government's flagship international educational exchange program.
The L&S faculty recipients of the Council for International Exchange of Scholars Fulbright Scholar Program were Wayne Becker, professor emeritus of botany (Austria); Carol Lee, professor of zoology (Taiwan); and Ruth Litovsky, professor of communication sciences and disorders (Australia).
Nine L&S students or recent graduates (listed here with degree program or degree obtained, destination country, field and research topic) received grants for graduate research abroad:

- Lauren Glover (Ph.D.), South Korea, archaeology, "Trade and Production of Elite Commodities in the Korean Peninsula: Bronze and Stone"
- Jennifer Gramer (Ph.D.), Germany, cultural & intellectual history, "Can Art be Guilty? Vergangenheitsbewältigung and the Legacy of Nazi Art in Germany"

Since its inception in 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided more than 360,000 participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns.
