LISAR encourages students to apply for the 2010-11 undergrad forum and fellow.

It has been a busy semester for the Undergraduate Forum of the Lubar Institute for the Study of the Abrahamic Religions.

This spring the involved group of Jewish, Christian and Muslim students has worshiped together at Hillel, St. Paul’s and the Islamic Community of Madison Area.  They have also tackled difficult topics during their monthly dialog sessions.

From discussing the cultural stereotypes of the Abrahamic faiths to frank interchanges on homosexuality and family conflict, LISAR’s Undergraduate Forum has allowed participants the opportunity to reflect on their own faiths while exploring those of others.

LISAR encourages any students interested in reaping similar rewards to consider applying for Forum membership for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Applications for these positions are now available on the LISAR homepage.
