The Language Institute is hosting a series of brown bag conversations this semester on innovation in language teaching and learning.
Upcoming Language Over Lunch sessions are devoted to assessing student learning outcomes in languages (April 8), maximizing language and culture learning outside of the classroom (April 15), and language learning and study abroad (April 29). All will run from noon to 1 p.m. in 1322 Van Hise Hall, and all are free and open to the public.
There will also be a capstone event for the end of the semester.
The series is sponsored by the Language Institute, with support from a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support Rethinking Area and International Studies at UW-Madison.
