We are pleased to announce the startup of a new campus project to help foster transdisciplinary research collaboration:
Systems for the Transdisciplinary Advancement of Research (STAR).
STAR is intended to help faculty & research staff:
- expand research networks across and beyond campus,
- deepen leadership and management skills, and
- enhance abilities to work across contrasting research paradigms.
STAR’s first programs are beginning soon. Enrollment is free for UW-Madison employees.
Foundations: The Science Behind Leadership & Management [pdf]

- 14 weeks of small group meetings on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 7:30-9:00am
