The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of History, working in cooperation with a consortium of local educational entities, secured a major U.S. Department of Education grant.
Encompassing teachers in grades 5-12 throughout central Wisconsin, this three-year “Teach American History” grant provides funding to raise student achievement by improving teachers' knowledge, understanding and appreciation of traditional American history.
