Hebrew & Semitic Studies alum to teach at St. Andrews University

William A. Tooman (Ph.D’06, Hebrew & Semitic Studies) has been hired to teach Old Testament exegesis of the Torah and Prophets and the history of interpretation at St. Andrews University in Scotland.

Since completing his Ph.D from UW, Tooman has been an assistant professor at Edgewood College. His many recent publications include editing a volume on Ezekiel entitled “Transforming Visions.”
