Computer Sciences Department Graduate Student Bill Harris was selected recently as a 2010 Microsoft Research PhD Fellow.
Harris, whose advisers are Professors Somesh Jha and Thomas Reps, was one of only 10 students in the U.S. to receive the honor.
Harris' research areas are programming languages and program analysis, with applications in software correctness and computer security. Harris is also a member of the UW-Madison Programming Languages Group.
