On June 19th, nearly 100 friends, family, and colleagues of Ted Koch gathered at the Lowell Center on the UW-Madison campus to celebrate his retirement after 18 years as Wisconsin’s State Cartographer.
Ted previously worked with the New York Department of Transportation for 17 years prior to returning to his home state of Wisconsin in 1991.
Prior to his departure on July 3rd, Ted reflected on his time as State Cartographer in the SCO’s online newsletter.
The staff and faculty in the Geography Department wish Ted the very best in his much-deserved retirement!
