The Green Scene is a multi media Web site created by journalism students in the Intermediate Reporting class
The site covers stories, audio, video, graphics, and links that highlight how Madison is living and going green.
Some of the subjects covered include the challenges facing Madison and its lakes, green transportation, locally grown food, UW-Madison’s global impact and how the November election might impact the state environmentally.
Faculty Associate Pat Hastings says this is not the first time the class has examined a subject in depth. During the November election, the class also covered the major races in real time.
