In June, Professor Henry J. Drewal gave the public lecture at the opening of the international traveling exhibition entitled "Dynasty and Divinity: Ife Art from Ancient Nigeria" that opened at the Fundacion Marcelino Botin in Santander, Spain.
He wrote the catalogue essay for the exhibition that will then travel to the Royal Academy in Madrid in September and the British Museum in London in March 2010.
