The Department of Computer Sciences is proud to announce that two of their alumni have been appointed to significant positions. Both have been featured prominently in national news stories in recent weeks.
- Alumna Carol Bartz was selected early in 2009 as CEO of Yahoo!
- Alumna Judy Faulkner (Founder and CEO, Epic Systems) was recently appointed as one of 13 members of the U.S. Health Information Technology Policy Committee. This group is a new advisory committee established by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and charged with developing recommendations on a policy framework for development and adoption of a nationwide health information technology infrastructure.
