Assistant Professor Mary Beltrán received the Institute for Research in the Humanities Race, Ethnicity, and Indigeneity Faculty Fellowship Award for 2009-2010 and her book, “Latina/o Stars in the U.S. Eyes: The Making of Meanings of Film and TV Stardom” which will be published this year by University of Illinois Press.
