Join L&S Associate Dean DeVon Wilson for a live episode of the L&S Elevate podcast on the stage at Hamel Music Center. This episode, focusing on the topic of Activating the Wisconsin Idea: Reclaiming the Narrative, features panelists Dr. Cora Marrett ’68, Former Acting Director of the National Science Foundation, Professor Emerita of Sociology, and member of the L&S Board of Visitors; Dr. Luke Zoet, Associate Professor of Geoscience; Dr. Christy Clark-Pujara, Department Chair and Professor of African American Studies; and Brenda González, UW–Madison’s Director of Community Relations.

We’ll launch the party with performances by student scholars of the First Wave Hip Hop Theater Ensemble centered around Hip Hop's 50th anniversary and its ability to promote social change. Then enjoy a gourmet strolling dinner while we dance the night away with DJay Mando (’16). No party would be complete without Bucky on hand for photo ops.
