Zhang
Hongming Zhang, an associate professor in the UW-Madison Department of East Asian Languages & Literature, has been named 2015 Teacher of the Year by the Wisconsin Association of Chinese Language Teachers (WACLT).
WACLT is a nonprofit educational organization that connects Chinese language teachers at all education levels, allowing them to share experiences and exchange views.
Zhang, who studies Chinese linguistics, has served as resident director of the UW-Tianjin Summer Chinese Program since 2004.
