Simon Gilroy and his lab are no strangers to sending plants into space. And, at the end of January, the botany professor and his team will be doing it again for their sixth experiment with NASA on the International Space Station, this time with tomatoes.
Remembering Robert Booth Fowler, 1940-2024
Robert Booth Fowler, an emeritus professor within the College of Letters & Science, passed away earlier this month at the age of 84. As a professor in both Political Science and Integrated Liberal Studies, Booth impacted thousands of students at the undergraduate and graduate levels and excelled in research and campus service.
