Your gift matters

Keeping L&S strong and growing means investing in the people and programs that make it remarkable. We are fortunate to have generous alumni who care deeply about the liberal arts and who remember that their L&S experience shaped them in so many lasting ways.

Join your fellow alumni and the many friends of L&S in supporting the heart of this great university.

Philanthropy feels good

Not everyone can write a big check. But studies have shown that when you give what you can, to a cause that matters to you, it just feels good. Support the liberal arts at UW-Madison!

L&S Board of Visitors

The College of Letters & Science is advised and guided by dedicated alumni: the L&S Board of Visitors. Read more about the BOV, below.

L&S Board of Visitors

I trust and rely on this group of dedicated, generous alumni to help me lead the largest college on the UW-Madison campus.

The L&S Board of Visitors helps us maintain our tradition of excellence in education, research and outreach. This select group of key stakeholders serves as an advisory group and works in partnership with Dean Karl Scholz to advance the mission of the College.

Our BOV advises on challenges, opportunities and trends; advocates for the liberal arts and UW-Madison; forges links between L&S and external constituencies; and supports excellence in teaching, research and service through philanthropy.
